Lean Six Sigma Certification: White, Yellow and Green Belts

Charanjit (CJ) Bawa, Lean coach and founder of QCDMS Consultants explains what’s the difference between levels of Lean Six Sigma certification and how White Belt, Yellow Belt and Green Belt are different.

“Lean Six Sigma White Belt takes the trainees through simple journey of learning to find waste and do daily simple problem-solving and process improvements,” he continues.

Charanjit Singh Bawa explains that Yellow Belt Training was called to create Lean Six Sigma leaders, who can create a purpose of the organization and connect it to the frontline work which is happening daily on the shop floor. And they can also do rapid process improvement events or E3 problem solving which is complex problem solving.

“The Green Belt trainee can really learn the Lean Six Sigma principles and embed the culture of Lean and Six Sigma throughout the organization from top to bottom including Yellow Belt and White Belt. All that was covered in these two trainings,” he concludes.
