WHATLean Study Tour and Plant Gemba Walk — 7 instructional hours over 1 day, in person. Combines a flow simulation, a host plant gemba walk and White Belt certification. Capability level: Aware.
WHYYou will see a mature Lean system operating in a live manufacturing plant rather than reading about it, and hold a Lean White Belt credential at the end of the same day.
WHOOpen to all sectors. Leaders, engineers, technologists, supervisors and improvement practitioners who want to see Lean in practice before committing to a full program.
WHEREIn person only. Morning training and simulation at a nearby venue; afternoon gemba walk at the host manufacturing plant. Both locations are in Ontario.
WHEN1 full day. Site access is arranged in advance and cohort size is capped by the host plant, so registration closes earlier than for other programs.
HOWMorning: instructor-led Lean fundamentals plus a hands-on flow simulation game. Afternoon: structured gemba walk at the host plant with guided observation and reflection.
HOW MUCH7 instructional hours. Scope of work after certification: see the waste already in your own work and speak about it with the correct language.
