Why I Called My Company QCDMS Consultants
There is a reason behind the name “QCDMS Consultants”. What is it? Charanjit Singh (CJ) Bawa, Lean Coach and founder of QCDMS explains.
“The name of my company is QCDMS Consultants, there is the reason that was fed into my mind by Honda,” says Charanjit Singh Bawa.
“Q” stands for Quality, improve your quality.
“C” – reduce your operating Costs.
“D” – enhance your Delivery or reduce the time it takes for your product, your service or your process to deliver. Deliver your service as fast as possible.
“M” – for Morale, which includes a customer morale and an employee morale. To improve both.
“S” stands for Safety and for reducing the safety incidents.
Charanjit Singh Bawa concluded that Honda believed that there should be 5 key metrics for any organization in any sector: quality, cost, delivery (which is the speed), morale of your customer and safety.
