Lean Six Sigma White Belt Training
In Collaboration with PMI Lakeshore Chapter
A Lean White Belt can lead their teams to improve their existing processes through “Rapid Improvement Events (RIE)” methodology and Honda’s A3 Problem Solving methodology. Become a LEAN Leader in your organization, learn attributes of a Lean Leader and learn to connect organization’s Purpose to the work happening at the frontline.
Do complex problem solving and improve processes from start to finish.
Eliminate inconsistencies and waste that lead to reduced employee morale.
Reduce non-value added activities that inflate costs and cause long wait times.
Details of Training:
- Introduction to Lean and History of Lean;
- Three P’s of Lean – Purpose, People and Process and Culture;
- Lean Game (4 different games, 1 for each sector, Public Service, Service, Healthcare & Manufacturing) – Through these games, learn the basics of Lean;
- Basics of Lean, Principles, Philosophies and Tools;
- Embedding Culture of Lean model;
- Case Studies from all the sectors.
Trainees Will Be Able to:
- Find waste in their processes;
- Understand Lean basics;
- Make daily process improvements &
- Be able to support large process improvement or “Kaizen” events.
Pre-work – No pre-work required.
Breakfast, Lunch, Parking and Training Material cost is included in the price.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bring 1 Problem and 1 Process to the training;
- Learn and apply Lean in your own settings;
- Complete 8 hours of pre-work;
- Open book exam.
16 hours Class Room and 8 hours Pre-work
About Your Coach
Charanjit (CJ) is a passionate, results-driven professional, an enthusiastic public speaker, coach and mentor. He has 23 years of experience in transforming numerous organizations, training and coaching over 3000 individuals (on Lean White, Yellow, Green Belt & Lean Tools).
He supported more than 50 project teams and embedded LEAN Six Sigma in organizations varying from 100 to 7000 employees by acting as a motivator, a trainer, a coach, a mentor and a facilitator. He has coached individuals from all the sectors including healthcare, service, public service, manufacturing and construction.
He gained Lean knowledge while working for HONDA and since then coached or led more than 60 Lean project teams. CJ also led many Quality Circle teams and won best quality award from Honda, Japan.
He is a certified ADKAR Change management professional from Prosci, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ and a Project management professional from PMI. He believes that “people are limitless” if engaged in a positive manner and can do wonders.
